LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE

Chrishina joined the industry of professional counseling in 2007. During the earlier years of her career, Chrishina recognized a pattern of unproductive systems, practices and mis-managed leadership styles. This affected not only other practitioners, office staff and the experience of maintaining a healthy workplace; but it also affected the clients and the quality of care they received. Chrishina understood the importance of mental health agencies having a solid foundation, effective systems in place, proper leadership and consistency. She believes these are the necessary tools for delivering service-excellence.

In 2013, Chrishina focused her passion for improving the overall quality of mental health services by climbing the latter into leadership positions. For almost two decades, Chrishina has served in a variety of leadership roles including: Medical Records Specialist, Utilization Manager, QA/QI Compliance Officer, Training Specialist, Program Manager, and Clinical Director. Throughout these roles, Chrishina has implemented successful strategies with assisting agencies in identifying strengths as well as areas for improvement within their organizational structures; as well as implementing Plans of Action to help create and maintain effectiveness for agencies to thrive. Chrishina’s unique processes, delivery and leadership style creates avenues for success!

As a Business Consultant, Chrishina prides herself in yielding impeccable results for her clients. She’s led teams into maintaining consistent scores of 100% on the state’s Performance Monitoring Report (PMR); as well as excelling well above 90% in all five focus areas of annual DBHDD ASO Behavioral Health Quality Reviews.
